THE LORD'S PRAYER

The Lord’s Prayer

 

The most famous sermon ever preached is the Sermon on the Mount. At the heart of the sermon is the most famous prayer ever prayed: The Lord’s prayer.

 

After rising from prayer one day the disciples asked the Lord Jesus Christ: ‘Lord teach us how to pray’ and in response He taught them Lord’s prayer.

 

In the original language of the New Testament (Greek) there are only 72 words: masterful in its brevity those words cover every eventually that befalls a disciple in his journey from earth to heaven.

 

The cause of God in our lives and in our world would be very different if every Christian spent some time every day praying through the Lord’s prayer.
